The Learning Enrichment Center (LEC) works with students from all divisions who are capable of succeeding in the All Saints’ academic program, but whose identified learning differences require them to approach the curriculum in different ways. In the Lower School and Intermediate School, students enrolled in the LEC receive language therapy and intervention through multisensory, systematic, direct instruction to develop and advance the academic skills they will need as they progress through the school’s curriculum. As they move up through the Middle and Upper School, the LEC continues to support these students through guided study halls. The LEC is dedicated to equipping students with individual strategies that enable them to achieve academic success in the independent school atmosphere. The LEC helps each student use his or her unique gifts to achieve success not only at All Saints, but also in college, career, and in life.
2014: The first group of students mentored by the LEC graduated. College acceptances included Ole Miss and SFA.
LEC services around 10% of the student population Lower through Upper School.
We have a LEC Parent Support Group
A learning difference (LD) is a neurological disorder that can manifest itself through difficulties in a variety of academic areas. It is a lifelong issue that cannot be cured or fixed, but with the right support and intervention students can succeed.
