It takes five years of preparation for a class to be adequately prepared. Starting in the spring of a student’s eight grade year, families first engage in individual conferences to plan a proper academic path based on teacher recommendations and prior test scores. From there, a host of programs interwoven into the academic program slowly brings to light topics of SAT/ACT test preparation, resume building, college exploration through class trips, and essay writing strategies, among others. The National Common Application is the recommended form of 230 selective colleges and universities for undergraduate admission. Students complete one Common Application form and can send the application to any of the participating colleges. The procedure simplifies the college application process and eliminates duplication of effort.

Need money for your education? You must complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to be considered for federal aid. You can complete this application on line or obtain an application in the Counseling Office and mail in the information after January 1st, once income taxes have been filed for the previous year.
