The marriage took place in Palos Verdes, California. Summer will finish her degree in Doctor of Optometry at the University of Southern California School of Optometry, May, 2008. My other daughter, Heather Ferguson, is a senior at Clemson University, Clemson, S.C. and majoring in Packaging Science. Graduate school is a possibility after the summer of 2008.

What do you enjoy most about:
Teaching at All Saints - All Saints is like an extended family. Teachers and students pray for each other and help one another.

Teaching subject - As our world gets smaller and as the Hispanic population increases in Texas and in the US, it is important that our students learn the Spanish language. This will allow us to understand one another and enhance the opportunities for better jobs.

Teaching age group - I teach all levels of Spanish with students from 14 years to 19 years old. This makes teaching challenging but exciting as I see how well the students progress from level to level.

Goals for students:
I do my best to prepare the students for each level of Spanish to be able to speak, read, write, and understand Spanish. Many students will be able to get college credits by passing placement tests. Also, many will be confident to major or minor in Spanish.

Outside Interest:
My outside interests are mainly in sports. I have coached little league baseball, T-ball, soccer, swim teams, and tennis. Roller blading, tennis and golf, buggy boarding and snow-skiing are my interests now. The ocean has always been my favorite habitat that renews and strengthens me so I can relax.
