DECATS (June 4 - 22, 2012)

In 2000, All Saints applied for a grant from the DeBusk Foundation to host the first DeBusk Enrichment Center for Academically Talented Scholars (DECATS) summer camp on our campus. For the last decade, we have received an annual grant to continue and expand DECATS in East Texas.

Scholars representing public, private, and home schools attend the three-week DECATS program each year. The program offers a balance of stimulating courses including math, biology, physics, chemistry, technology, music, drama, journalism, art, writing, and more. Through a special time each day called Perspectives, the scholars become aware of the gifts God has given them and their responsibility for improving the world through them.

Nestled in the piney woods of East Texas, our campus is home to a state-of-the-art gymnasium, a synthetic turf playing field, an outdoor environmental center, and beautiful classrooms. All these and more are used in the summer to accommodate our camps.
