5th-6th Grades
Lower school students in 5th and 6th grades work with Nancy Smith in a recently refurbished PC Computer lab each day. These students learn advanced keyboarding and computer literacy as they study history and Bible.

The software used at this level includes:

  • Microsoft Word
  • Power Point
  • Mavis Beacon Typing Program
  • Internet Explorer

In addition to the above listed software, Nancy Smith works with the students on proper computer etiquette and internet safety.

Each lower school lab has a state-of-the-art projection system, scanners, and access to digital cameras so students can use photo images in published projects such as web pages and multimedia productions.

Students use CD-ROMs and the Internet for research, communication, and web page projects.
