National Merit Scholars

Four students from All Saints who took the 2010 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) met the requirements to enter the 2011 National Merit Scholarship Program. Each of these students is among the 50,000 highest-scoring participants of some 1.5 million college-bound juniors who took the PSAT in October 2010. In September 2011, of the more than 50,000 students being offered this service, about 16,000 will be named National Merit Program Semifinalists, representing the top scores in each state, and approximately 34,000 other students will be named Commended Scholars. Finalists will be named in February 2012 and have an opportunity to compete for 8,200 Merit Scholarships.

National Merit

Congratulations to Hale B., William S. and Jeremy T. who have been named National Merit Commended Scholars. John N. has been named a semifinalist and will compete for a finalist honor.

Of the last nine graduating classes, 42 students have been named Commended Scholars or better.

Boosterthon Run Run

We are so excited about the 2011-2012 PA Fundraiser. Our Fundraiser will be an incredible experience for your child while raising money for All Saints. Our fundraiser this year will be the Boosterthon Fun Run! The Boosterthon Fun Run is a program that promotes Fitness, Leadership and Character building skills and ends with a Fun Run. The fun run and character building lessons are geared towards students in 4k-6th grades. There will be plenty of opportunities for the Middle School and Upper school families to get involved. A letter will be sent to you soon to let you know how you can support this fundraiser.

The students will get pledges towards the amount of laps they will run during the fun run. They will learn character building lessons each day that go along with this year's Boosterthon theme "EPIC Adventure." The Boosterthon team will begin the fundraiser with a pep rally on August 30 and it will conclude with the fun run on September 9. Every student participates regardless of pledges and receives a t-shirt.
