Biography
College and Degrees:
UT Austin, BA in Mathematics
Year began at All Saints:
2000
Family:
I started teaching while I was completing my degree by correspondence,
then 'retired' until all of our five sons were in school.
At that time, I returned to teach math at all levels in
Hawkins. When my husband and I decided All Saints would
be a great place for our youngest boys to attend high school,
I found myself driving to Tyler each day as well, to teach
at All Saints.
What I enjoy most about: Teaching at All Saints - The open expression of Christian
faith.
Teaching the Subject - I simply enjoy "doing"
math.
Teaching age group - The students' effervescence.
Goals for students:
I want to see my students be competitors and successful
on the SAT. I want to see my students become more competent
and comfortable using higher math. I want to see my students
respect and adhere to faith in Christ
Outside Interest:
I enjoy reading and being involved in church/country music
on the violin/fiddle.
