The underlying purpose of the curriculum is two fold; to equip students
with the necessary skills, knowledge and attitudes to have a successful
and fulfilling educational experience in preparation for college and
life and to teach students how to think and how to learn. This requires
that students adopt a serious approach to their studies and a willingness
to work hard to successfully meet high standards. The Upper School offers
AP and college preparatory classes to ensure the students are prepared
to move to their next level of education.
In addition to the strong
core of academic courses,
All Saints also provides enrichment courses.
Lower School students receive instruction in music
(band or choir), handbells is optional, art, Spanish, computer, library
and daily physical education. The Mewbourne Mathematics Enrichment program,
through the use of math manipulatives, teaches students to think analytically.
A similar program is offered in the study of hands-on-science.

Middle School students receive instruction in computer,
study skills and communications skills. Elective courses include drama,
art, music and band. Interscholastic athletics include volleyball, soccer,
basketball, baseball, softball, golf, tennis, and track and field.
Upper School students can choose from a variety of
elective courses: French, Spanish, debate, theatre arts, ceramics, art,
band, choral ensemble, journalism, yearbook, computer, SAT/ACT preparation,
and current events. Interscholastic athletics include football, volleyball,
cross country, soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, golf, tennis,
and track and field. A well developed and understood honor system guides
the Upper School.
Beginning in the ninth grade, all students, working
one-to-one with the academic counselor, develop and periodically update
a comprehensive college plan which includes course selection, co-curricular
involvement, testing, career counseling, and college counseling.
